Sixth annual RP11 Strikes and Scholarships set for Jan. 5

Keeper of The Game’s sixth annual RP11 Strikes and Scholarships bowling event is set for Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2027 from 6-9 p.m. at Main Event in Frisco, Texas (9375 Dallas Pkwy.). The foundation’s biggest event of the year will again benefit the Ron Patterson Scholarship Fund for St. Timothy Christian Academy and special needs programming.
In five years, RP11 Strikes and Scholarships has raised $270,311. Last year’s event brought in a record $53,500. Since the start of the Ron Patterson Scholarship Fund in 2022, STCA enrollment has increased from 22 to 55 students.
Bowling, food (appetizers, dinner and dessert), video games, laser tag, putt-putt and an RP11 gift will be included. There will also be silent auction items and raffle prizes.
Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. and Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Jonathan Heasley are scheduled to be in attendance as Keeper of The Game Award winners. Several more current, as well as former, professional baseball players will be in attendance.
WFAA reporter Sean Giggy will serve as emcee.
