*****Deadline extended to Sunday, Feb. 14*****
FRISCO, Texas – For the second consecutive year, the Keeper of The Game Foundation is proud to present the D-BAT Showdown, a friendly competition between D-BAT Frisco and D-BAT Fort Worth to benefit local Miracle Leagues.
The two D-BAT locations will see who can collect the most new and gently used baseball and softball gloves until Saturday, Jan. 30 (deadline extended to Feb. 14).
“We are proud to host another D-BAT Showdown,” Keeper of The Game Executive Director Bryan Hoctor said. “Not only does D-BAT provide excellent facilities to help athletes improve their game, they provide numerous servant leadership opportunities to help community members in need.”
D-BAT Frisco (10875 John W. Elliot Dr., Suite 100, Frisco, Texas, 75033) will donate its items to The Miracle League of Frisco, while D-BAT Fort Worth (6861 Corporation Pkwy., Suite 100, Fort Worth, Texas, 76126) will donate to The Miracle League of DFW, which is located in Arlington.
Those not in the Dallas-Fort Worth area who wish to donate can do so online at keeperofthegame.org/donate. Under the “Apply to Fund” section, select “Servant Leadership Programming.” All monies will be used to purchase new baseball and softball gloves for Miracle League athletes.
