Keeper of The Game partnering with Frisco RoughRiders Foundation for equipment drive benefiting Hurricane Maria victims

FRISCO, Texas – The Keeper of The Game Foundation and Frisco RoughRiders Foundation are partnering for an equipment drive benefiting residents of Levittown, Puerto Rico. The event will be held during the Texas Rangers’ Winter Caravan stop at Dr Pepper Ballpark on Saturday, Jan. 27 from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Fans attending the free event are encouraged to donate new or gently used baseball gear, children’s clothing, baby items and formula. The drop-off location will be inside the ballpark near Guest Services (on the concourse level above home plate).
Carlos Ramirez, who is an assistant baseball coach at Weatherford College and dear friend of Keeper of The Game, will help distribute the items in his hometown of Levittown. The entire area was devastated by Hurricane Maria.
Texas Rangers and Keeper of The Game supporters Elvis Andrus, Matt Bush and Keone Kela, as well as manager Jeff Banister and top catching prospect Jose Trevino, are scheduled to be in attendance for the family-friendly event.
