Keeper of The Game honors Tomlin family with game ball donation

The Keeper of The Game Foundation is pleased to honor the Tomlin family with a donation of six dozen MacGregor game balls to the Rose Capital East Little League Challenger Division in Tyler, Texas.
Josh Tomlin, an East Texas native, is a pitcher for the Cleveland Indians. He and his wife, Carlie, are strong supporters of Keeper of The Game and youth baseball/softball. His parents, Jerry and Elana, also support both causes and still reside in the area.
On hand for the April 21 presentation were nearly 20 Rose Capital East Little League Challenger Division athletes, Challenger Division President Lindsey Cowart, Jerry and Elana Tomlin, Keeper of The Game Board Member Drew Landes and the Tyler Lee High School baseball team.
“The Keeper of The Game Foundation is proud to present a year’s supply of game balls to the Rose Capital East Little League Challenger Division to honor the Tomlin family for their lifetime commitment to helping kids of East Texas experience the great game of baseball,” Landes said. “This commitment exemplifies the very purpose of Keeper of The Game. We are thankful for the Tomlin family’s ‘pay it forward’ investment in the lives of so many children. May we all strive to follow their example.”
The Rose Capital East Little League Challenger Division is open to children ages four to 22 that have physical or mental challenges that prevent them from playing baseball/softball on a competitive team. For more information about the league, click here.
